Keith and Darren Gardiner

Ultimate Grizzly Safaris 2008

Keith and Darren are a father and son team from Queensland, Australia, who joined us on a three week custom wildlife safari in September and October of 2008

Darren has owned and operated his company ID STYLE, specializing in Graphic Design, Colour Printing, Web Design & Hosting, Promotional Displays & Products, since 1994. Keith is successfully, and blissfully, retired following a working life of struggle and stress in real estate and various business ventures. (You can get to Darren's website here...)

Darren and Keith went on their first safari together in 2006 to Africa and had such a great time that they couldn't wait to plan their next one, and after considering many options they chose Canada. I think there are few greater bonding experiences that family or good friends can share than a good quality wildlife safari.

It was a real pleasure for me to guide such a couple of characters on what proved to be one of the most exciting and action filled trips of the year. Despite long days travelling or sitting in the rain together, these two guys never missed a chance to tell a joke or make fun of any situation (usually at my expense, I might add!)

Their photo shoot was so successful that we have created our new Ultimate Grizzly Safari for 2009 based on their trip. We have shortened the whole trip to two weeks to reduce the travelling time and cost, but essentially the 2009 itinerary is the same.

thanks for coming such a long way to share some time with me. You have reminded me of how incredibly lucky I am to live a lifestyle that most people only dream about, and how profoundly important it is for all of us to spend quality time with our loved ones while we can.
