Great Bear
Rainforest

Great Bear Rainforest

Featuring northern British Columbia and Alaska as the very essence of wilderness, aboriginal culture and wildlife, the Great Bear Rainforest encompasses a land of history and beauty, and is truly vast.

Our Great Bear Rainforest package combines superb grizzly bear viewing and photography with first nation's villages and culture, a pioneer ghost town, stunning mountain passes, fiords and glaciers. This tour also takes you through the heartland of the mythical spirit bear. These pure white bears had powerful significance for the ancient first nation's people. More recently, they have helped to influence government to preserve this 1.8 million hectare temperate rainforest as one of Canada 's newest and largest protected areas.

Wildlife of the West Kootenays

 Wildlife of the West Kootenays

Join us in Grand Forks, British Columbia and explore the rich wildlife habitats of the West Kootenay and Boundary regions.

We are situated on the border between the open Okanagan dry belt and the heavily forested Kootenay regions. This creates an “edge” effect that results in a remarkable landscape and range of animal and bird species. We know all the best locations and times to see these incredibly diverse wildlife populations.

Half and full day wildlife viewing and photography safaris daily. Please call ahead to reserve your seat as availability is limited.
